Hands rejuvenation

What is hand rejuvenation?

Hand rejuvenation is a treatment most commonly mediated by middle and older patients when the skin on the hands loses collagen, elastin, and the ability to create hyaluronic acid. The result is a thin, dry, non-elastic skin streaked with wrinkles.According to some research, as many as 80 percent of women estimate the age of the interlocutor on the basis of his own hands. Hands are most exposed to adverse effects, and as a result, hands are often older than the rest of the body. In the treatment of hand rejuvenation as a dermal filler,  hyaluronic acid is used which body with age losing, which is completely harmless since it naturally breaks down in the body, disappears only when fully resorbed. Contrary to collagen filers, hyaluronic dermal filers are not of animal origin and, therefore, do not cause allergies.

Patient preparation

On a consultation screening before the procedure, a doctor will conduct a detailed review and recommend further treatment. Since this is a simple and fast procedure, no more extensive reviews or preparation are required.

The procedure

Hand rejuvenation begins by applying anesthetic creams, followed by a filing application to carefully positioned places on hand. The goal is to get a smooth, leveled skin surface and restore lost volume to your hands. The treatment is completely painless and lasts only about 15 minutes, and the results are visible immediately: apart from the gentle and rejuvenated hands, the skin’s elasticity is much better, and the previously over-expressed blood vessels are much weaker.

Recovery process and helpful tips

Hand rejuvenation is a non-invasive procedure with an extremely small chance of complications. After the procedure itself, it is possible to appear mild redness and, in some cases, bruising. But both of them will disappear during the next two to three days.

It is recommended week after treatment if necessary to gently massage the treated area and avoid direct sun, solarium and sauna. Also, it is desirable to avoid rough hand massages and other aesthetic and cosmetic procedures for the first week.
